Being everywhere is certainly a mean feat for anyone and yet, as most folks know by now, Billy F Gibbons, also known as simply, “BFG”, gets around. And with a little luck, sometimes BFG get to stick around. And in this case, being in one spot brings BFG back home to Las Vegas and for good reason…. A brief break in the BFG touring schedule brought news of the upcoming appearance by his pal and now video partner, Morris Day, who will be performing as Morris Day & The Time, at The Strat, July 28 & 29. Morris D and BFG of course made headlines following the release of their collaboration with Snoop Dogg on the hit single, “2 Much Girl 4 Me”.
And it was this timely pairing that allowed the dangerous duo to be seen making surprise rounds about town recently stepping in and out the likes of Main Street’s ‘Soul Belly BBQ’, across the alley to Sonic Rodeo Studios and making several stops up and down the strip and land their romp at The Strat to wrap the action seen in the popular video coupling the two with the chart topper, “2 Much Girl 4 Me”.
The calling of the road returns BFG with ZZ Top’s summer and autumn tour dates, joined by Lynrd Skynrd, while Morris Day breaks off to take his show to points beyond as well.
